Getting engaged is one of the most joyful and exciting moments in a couple's life - it can also be highly stressful. Through personal experience, we at Weddings Planner understand this and want to help. One of the main reasons behind the creation of this website was to assist newly engaged couples wade through the sometimes confusing world of organizing a big event.
When I got engaged myself, aside from the joy I felt at knowing that I would be spending the rest of my life with my best friend, I was also slightly panicked by the thought of organizing the wedding. However, my background as both an entrepreneur and project manager kicked-in and I realized that just a little organization was all I needed to get over every obstacle in my wedding-planning path. I set to work and, together with my fiance, created a manageable and easy-to-follow list of all the things that needed to get decided before the big day. After everything was said and done, we realized that we had created a solid foundation that could benefit others planning their own weddings.
As a working couple we know that today's lifestyles make it hard to find the time to plan such a large event.
